Motorola 10″ tablet ready for FiOS?
Finanacial Times is reporting the coming launch (as early as this fall) of a new Motorola Tablet ready for integration with Verizon’s upcoming FiOS television service. The thought is that the tablet will be capable of high-quality live television streaming. However, as solid as FT makes the story out to be IntoMobile reminds us that this information is rumor at this point.
Currently viewed as an entry into the iPad competition (what Andy tablet isn’t?), a tablet running Android 2.2 capable of live television streaming certainly would be interesting if nothing else.
Can Android rock a tablet the way iOS does? Should we be waiting for Chrome OS before dropping the cash on a Google slab? I’m still undecided, but I’m anxious for many of these mythical Android tabs we’ve been hearing about for so long to make their way into stores so I can decide for myself.
