Tumblr for Android
I know some of you have been waiting for this a long time now: Tumblr for Android has officially arrived. Of course, it’s not without bugs, but the app serves it’s purpose well. From within the Tumblr app, you can take and post pictures, audio, and video as well as access your dashboard for reading and reblogging. Plus, there’s even some early level Twitter integration. So long as you have a Tumblr account and an Android device with 2.1 or higher, you can download the official app from the Market today.
Other than ironing out a few bugs, the only real problem Tumblr faces with their recent introduction is how well the app will fare against other already established alternatives; Something Twitter knows all about. Twitter has had no problem grabbing a hold of a large chunk of the market, and I’m sure Tumblr will follow suit. How about you readers, have you been using a Tumblr uploader? Are you going to give the official client a shot? Let us know in the comments.

I do not know of anyone that uses tumblr. I have my twitter posts synced to facebook, myspace, and buzz. And to be honest a majority of people I know just use facebook. Even though tumblr is more of a blog site, its still a social site and there are way too many out there.
