Desire HD passes through the FCC without US 3G

Thanks a little detective work from Engadget, we now know that the PD98100, or Desire HD, has just passed through the FCC with no American 3G bands on board. How do they know the PD98100 is the Desire HD? A photo of the battery slot during a hands on at the HTC London event shows the model number plain and simple.

It’s sad to see that the Desire HD won’t be readily available in America, but look on the bright side: We still have our EVO, Nexus, Incredible, Galaxy S devices, DROID 2, DROID X, and plenty more amazing devices coming soon. I’m sure you can find something to suit your fancy, no?

In other news, there is a system dump for the device on XDA that confirms a Vodafone release.

What did I say? The Inspire 4G (Desire HD) came out within my 4-6 month prediction. Boom.

The states just now got the Desire. We are luckily getting the Desire Z as the T-Mobile G2 on October 6th. I say that it will be 4-6 months before we can lay our American hands on the Desire HD.

Desire HD >MyTouch HD.. I think T Mobile crippled the Desire Hd into what we know as Mytouch HD :S

WHAT THE FCKKKKKKKK ! ? just completely crush my dreams. tmobile just sucks sometimes.. all i ask is for a phone with features similar if not better than an evo.
