Today, at Google’s cloud-computing conference, Google Atmosphere, the company will tout its success in converting businesses and organizations to its Apps suite of products, and also promises to deliver Google Docs editing capabilities to Android and iPad users (the iPhone is strangely omitted).
From the statement, which talks about simultaneous editing between coworkers, it almost sounds like this would be a Google Apps-only feature. But that doesn’t really make sense, so I fully expect all Google users to have access to the same functionality. It’s also worth mentioning that Google Spreadsheets has had some simple editing on mobile browsers, while Documents have not.
