Verizon Fascinate to be $199, plus BOGO

Not only does the image below support the 9/9 launch date for Verizon’s flavor of the Samsung Galaxy S, Fascinate, but it indicates that the device will run $199 on contract and will be part of a buy-one-get-one/any promotion. Under the promo details are the specs of the device, which line up with the rest of the Galaxy S series.

I’d like to know how many of you plan on grabbing one of these bad boys for yourselves. Does a BOGO bargain make up for Verizon’s higher monthly fees? Have you been waiting for the Galaxy S on Big Red for the coverage? Speak up in the comments.

I'll probably exchange my droid x for this after now realizing how bad not a having autofocus cellphone camcorder looks.

All Galaxy S phones have 512MB ram. However, 128MB is dedicated for hardware use such as the radio and GPU. This minus Android reserved memory only gives around 325MB left for application usage. To Android/end user, the phone sadly (nor do any of the other Galaxy S variants) have the full 512MB.

I believe so, but I know of one person that said only 325MB were showing as available. http://www.droiddog.com/android-blog/2010/09/fascinate-in-the-wild/

You say the specs match up with the other Galaxy S devices. Does that mean that the Fascinate will have 512mb of ram installed?
