Video shows of the customizability of Android
Vanilla Android may be the only viable option for many-a-folk in the Android hacking community, but most of the mainstream fan base loves Android precisely because the user interface can be modded and molded into almost anything you desire, assuming you have the chops to code your own mods or are lucky enough to find your perfect solution already exists in the Market.
Android Community posted a video yesterday by YouTube user, Royisonandroid, in which Roy gives us a tour of his Nexus One modifications for the purpose of demonstrating the benefits of an open mobile OS. Great introduction to Android modding. Check it out:

Hey Billy,no I suggested that you could use bettercut and then return it ;) It's completely fair game and my guess is that people will come back to it for more later and buy it eventually (and I think that is the creators intent as well, otherwise they could have changed the app a bit to avoid this kind of stuff)
