Ericsson Application Awards: Go!

Today is the official start date of the Ericsson (in cooperation with Sony Ericsson) Application Awards. The contest is open to students and small companies (less than 100 employees) and will award the first place winner(s) with €15,000, second place with €10,000, and third place with €5,000. Fourth and Fifth place winners will receive honorary diplomas.

The competition has numerous stages with deadlines for each. The whole thing begins today and the last event–where the winners are awarded–occurs in June of next year. It’s an exciting opportunity for Android developers and should produce some amazing applications!
