Synapse-Phones offers made-to-order Androids

Shipping in the middle of Q1, 2011, a German outfit called Synapse-Phones will pound out an Android to your liking, based on a 1GHz processor and 4″ display. Customizable options include the radio (3,G, 4G, LTE, WiMAX), hard vs. capacitive buttons (in a unique arrangement), front camera, rear camera, flash, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, etc. The site where orders are tricked out and placed has been up and down all day, but take a shot at S-P’s blog for more info.

Base models start at around $400.

i believe its a scam... sounds too good to be true

only concern is how would updates work, if we look at past phones slight changes between 2 different phones require different builds of android. Personally i would choose hard buttons, 3G (HSPA+ if possible) front camera, rear camera, flash, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPS, (and i wish real keyboard)

This kind of reminds me of a Motorola phone. There's something about it's design

I like that the screen takes up most of the real-estate of the front of the phone. Unlike the Droid X where there is a lot of empty space making the phone bigger than it should be; not to put down the Droid X cuz I still think it's pretty cool though.
