T-Mobile expanding HSPA+ coverage

Everyone likes 2 for 1 deals right? How about a 2 for 1 announcement? Tucked inside the announcement for the new myTouch, was a brief mention of T-Mobile’s upcoming HSPA+ expansion. Cities to be added shortly include:

Biloxi and Gulfport, Miss.
Denver, Colo.
Huntsville, Ala.
Knoxville, Tenn.
Myrtle Beach, S.C.
Norfolk, Va.
Omaha, Neb.
Phoenix and Tucson, Ariz.
Salt Lake City, Utah
San Francisco, San Jose, Oakland and Sacramento, Calif.
West Palm Beach, Fla.

By the end of 2010, T-Mobile hopes to have over 200 million people, in 100 metropolitan areas covered by their HSPA+ blanket. Combine that with the newly christened WiFi calling feature making a reappearance in Magenta’s lineup, and you’ve got some serious coverage. So far, both of T-Mobile’s HSPA+ devices will be sporting Android. Who’s next?
