“Massive Update” for Angry Birds

As if Angry Birds for Android wasn’t already great enough, comes an announcement straight from Rovio to inboxes everywhere: The ever popular game saw a “massive” update today with version 1.4.2, available in the Market, or on GetJar now. So what signifies a “massive” update?

- QVGA Support
- New episode titled “The Big Setup”
- 195 total levels
and
- Bug fixes including 1.6 blank screen, and white texture errors

So there you have it. 45 new levels, numerous bug fixes, and complete QVGA support. What more could you ask for? The special Halloween edition? Let’s hope we get something special for Christmas. Show of hands, who has three-starred every level?

Hey dont update, its has a bug that runs invisibly in the background and sends pay per texts messages without you knowing it.

I haven't been able to play the new version yet. Basically have to reboot my MT3G every time I want to play it and the last time I tried it locked up. Sounds like a good update though.

Well works on my Eris better now. But intrusive ads and more lag :(
