Verizon holding 4G press event tomorrow (December 1st)

Verizon has been adamant, since word first got out, that by the end of 2010 they would have some sort of a 4G network up and running. Thanks to a press event scheduled for tomorrow, December 1st, it looks like Big Red is still right on track.

So what can we expect at said press event? Starting at 12 EST, Tony Melone, senior vice president and chief technical officer of Verizon Wireless, is going to share all the launch details of Verizon’s 4G labeled LTE network. While no LTE devices have been rumored to drop before the 1st of the year, the network to utilize them on is said to go live as soon as December 6th (next Monday). Keep checking back with us here at DroidDog as we find out exactly what goes down at the event, and give you all the deets.
