If you’ve been waiting for the cheaper, no carrier Wi-Fi version Samsung’s Galaxy Tab, hold that pose: the drought continues, thanks to a delay on the manufacturer’s part. The images below were taken from the Best Buy Mobile website and a Best Buy “pullback” respectively, and indicate that we could grab the Tab for $499, if it were available…but it isn’t. We’re also told that the Sprint flavor of the Galaxy Tab will come in white only; not silver.
We have yet to hear of any evidence that the Wi-Fi Tab will launch before the holidays, so if you’re looking to pick one up for that special someone, perhaps a carrier version isn’t such a bad idea. Best Buy is knocking $50 off of their in-stock Tabs this Black Friday.
