Android 2.3 Gingerbread was just released moments ago, along with the new SDK. Minutes and some updates later I had the Gingerbread emulator up and running ready for some video capturing. There’s not a lot of new stuff to see, it seems Gingerbread is mostly speed improvements, bug fixes and some very awesome new APIs.
Can you please help me out ? I'm trying to get this and can figure out how. I'm rooted running cm6.1.0 thanks in a
Must say at first viewing I am a little underwhelmed by the changes. Was hoping for a lot of UI beautification, so far not much evidence of that. No mention of media streaming or tablet sized screen support. Was debating whether to fork out for a Galaxy tab over the holidays but can't see that happening now. However built in voip support sounds good, and keyboard definitely looks an improvement. I Would just like to add that app storage space is also a problem for me as I haven't rooted (warranty) my nexus one and have run out of space with only my most essential apps installed.Come on Google full Apps2SD!!!
