DROID X updated – includes Madden, bug fixes, and more

Don’t go freaking out yet DROID X users, the update being sent out to your device anytime now is not Gingerbread. I repeat, not Gingerbread. Does that mean it doesn’t include some excellent changes, all for the the better? Of course not. The list of changes in software Version 2.3.340.MB810.Verizon.en.USIBP_C_01.09.07P is a long one, but some of the highlights include:

- Preloaded Madden NFL football game.
- Preloaded Adobe Flash Player 10.1.
- Preloaded MyVerizon application (v5).
- Added Data Widget to home panel.
- Improved Android OS Froyo stability
- Fixes to Exchange Activesync
- Fixes to Viscual Voicemail

If you’re looking to read up on all the changes, check out this Verizon information PDF that certainly contains more than enough to hold you over until the update actually arrives. Once it does, feel free to let us know how it goes in the comments below.
