Google App Inventor beta now available to all

Today, Google has announced via their Official Research Blog that so long as you have a Google account, anyone can start using their introduction to app making program known as App Inventor. It’s been as far back as last July when we first heard about App Inventor, and according to Google the response has been overwhelming.

“We are so impressed with the great things people have done with App Inventor, we want to allow more people the opportunity to do great things. So we’re excited to announce that App Inventor (beta) is now available in Labs to anyone with a Google account.”

Google lists several examples of apps that have been created using AI including SMS broadcast, vocabulary apps for children, and even a wedding proposal app (heart warming, I know). As far as what you can make, well the sky is the limit. If you’re looking to get started, visit the Google Labs App Inventor page now.
