Google CR-48 specs

Is your heart all a-flutter for Google’s nondescript, soft-touch, rubberized Chrome OS notebook, the CR-48? Well, not everyone can get in on Google’s early CR-48 testing program. But we can live vicariously through the lucky ones. So, after you’ve watched PC World‘s unboxing video, and read about Geek.com‘s “first 48″, check out the new entry for the notebook over at gdgt.

Add it to your wish list, print out some photos to hang over your bed, and memorize the specs. We’ve taken the liberty of capping the screens and pasting below. What do you think of the numbers, DroidDog readers? Do you plan on grabbing one of these puppies when they hit shelves mid-2011?

how do u even get into a pilot program like the 1 for the CR-48?

for the ones that get to get one of these in the pilot program based on a similar netbook on newegg, your getting a $600 free gift source: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16834157462

$600? Hardly. More like $200. It does less than a netbook aside from integrated 3G, boot time speed and 8 hours of battery life.
