Several days ago, we told you about a website’s $1,000 bounty on the Logitech Revue. That website is MagicAndroidApps and is offering up a grand to the first person who can root a Google TV product and install third party apps before official support comes along.
We haven’t heard any announcements just yet but it’s clear that at least one well-known Android hacker is at work on the project. @Stericson posted a photo of the Logitech Revue recovery screen last night, and I don’t think he would have accidentally initiated a factory reset on the box if he wasn’t in there seriously tinkering around.
Hopefully there is more to come on this very soon.
