CES: It’s official, Samsung’s LTE smartphone is the I510

When Samsung first revealed their newest LTE smartphone for Verizon, it was a little hard to take in the details on stage (not to mention the press release didn’t really help). Well now that the device is on display, we can most definitely confirm that it is the I510.

The I510, whose name will probably change by release, is not your average Galaxy S device. Not only does the body of the phone take on an odd angular shape, but it also boasts a 4.3″ Super AMOLED Plus display with an 8MP back camera, and a 1.3MP shooter on the front.

It’s worth nothing here that the I510 looks eerily similar to the i-520 leaked by Offwire not long ago. We’ll keep an eye out for whatever happens with that.

Anyone excited for this device? Check out a couple hands on pictures of the I510 below.
