CES is awash with tablets and televisions this year, and there has been a lot of talk about streaming media to either with the same app, controlling televisions with mobile gadgets, and achieving a TV experience with a tablet computer. But Panasonic’s Viera takes integration a step further, as the line of four-to-ten-inch tablets ( a seven incher was shown of at CES) are designed specifically for use with the company’s latest line of televisions. Of course the Viera will have remote control capabilities and content sharing with Panasonic’s Internet connected tellies, but as Laptop Mag points out, there are other, less obvious applications, like viewing sports replays from one viewing angle on the set and another on the tablet.
