Available starting today, Google will be rolling out a new service for use with your mobile device and printer that allows you to print any Gmail message and certain types of email attachments straight from the cloud. Simply known as Cloud Print, all you need to do to begin utilizing the service is hit up the setup page found here, register your printer for use, and that’s it. Once you’re all connected, you’re good to visit gmail.com from your mobile browser (be it Android or iOS) and select print from the drop down menu in the top right corner.
There’s no driver installation needed, it can be done from any browser, any OS, and best of all it’s completely free.
As of right now, Cloud Print is only set to work with Windows based computers, but Linux and Mac support will be available shortly. For more information on Google Cloud Print, visit the Google Cloud Print help center now.
