The last time we heard the words City A.M. and exclusive together, the site was spreading news that the Nexus S was going to be available in the UK in time for Christmas. They also said “rumours surrounding a Samsung model are believed to be untrue,” so be sure to keep that in mind when you hear what they’re saying now.
According to City A.M., HTC and Facebook have partnered up and are set to release two Android-based devices centered around the social platform. The phones, said to “draw comparisons to Google’s Nexus range,” will be shown at Mobile World Congress.
It’s still not set in stone just how much of a Facebook phone either of these new devices could turn out to be, but CA.M. claims it’s deeper than just tighter integration – Facebook branding and colors will be apparent. Of course pricing, release info, and any other significant information has yet to be revealed, but if any of this is true we won’t have long to find out.
What do you guys say, would you like a Facebook phone? Let us know in the comments below.
