HTC has taken an immense amount of pride in being first-to-market when it comes to 4G. They did it with the EVO 4G on Sprint, the G2 on T-Mobile, and they’ll continue the tradition with the Thunderbolt on Verizon and Inspire 4G on AT&T.
The Verizon Thunderbolt has already been leaked in just about every way possible for the last couple months now, but with this new Rolling Stone ad, we get a slightly more official look at the device. There’s still no solid specs attached to the Thunderbolt, but they’re rumored to look a little something like the Desire HD’s or myTouch 4G‘s.
Even more surprising than the Thunderbolt being featured in the full two-page ad, is a glimpse of AT&T’s first 4G device: The Inspire 4G. All we can tell from the picture below is that it looks nearly identical to the Thunderbolt and EVO, most likely coming in with a 4.3″ screen and front-facing camera among other goodies.
Anyone taken by surprise with this new AT&T device? Hopefully we’ll get to see more at CES.
