The world’s first dual-core smartphone, the LG Optimus 2X P990, is fast. It enjoys the performance enhancements of Android 2.2 (it will see 2.3), captures and plays back video at 1080p, and rocks a 4″ display. Though this gadget has no release window for the United States, it’s the first of a long line of Tegra 2 powered smart phones, many of which will have stateside availability. This video demonstrates some of the advantages of packing such a wallop.
