MWC preview: The Samsung S5830
With Mobile World Congress going down a little over a month from now, you can expect to see more leaks on the devices that will be shown any minute now. Leaks like this one on the Samsung S5830. Not much is known about this “small version of the Galaxy S,” but we do have some decent specs to tag it with:
The Samsung S5830 runs on Android 2.2.1 (Froyo) some more specs about this phone.
- Bleutooth.
- Wifi.
- 3.5 plug-inn.
- Micro SD.
- Micro USB.
- 5 Camera with Led flash.
- Max Camera resolution: 2560×1920.
- Max Camrecorder[sic] resolutuion: 1280×720.
As you may have already guessed from the picture above, the most striking feature on the S5830 is it’s borrowed physical appearance. When the Galaxy S was first announced, there was a lot of mumbling across the web about how the device was a blatant rip on the Apple iPhone 3G/3GS. It looks like this new device is taking that same approach, but with the iPhone 4 as it’s foundation. Wherever the S5830 gets its design ideas from, we’ll be sure to keep an eye out for it when MWC kicks off next month.

This is ridiculous. even if you forget the fact this is your second iphone look alike, this phone would still only be cool for the first 3 months untill you realize you're three updates behind in the android software and samsung couldn't care less. Samsung you have some serious work to do.
