TweetDeck launches for extended tweets

Fans of TweetDeck for the Desktop, Chrome browser, and Android no longer need a third party solution like TwitLonger in order to break through that 140 character limit that makes Twitter what it is. As of today, TweetDeck on those platforms has been updated to utilize an extended tweet service by TweetDeck called Deckly supports unlimited characters and will display entire extended messages in Chrome and on the Desktop. For Android users, a truncated tweet is displayed, which can be tapped to reveal the entire contents. Twitter users accessing your tweets with another client or on the web will see a truncated tweet and a link to the complete message (like TwitLonger).

Head on over to to grab the latest version of the desktop app, search the Android Market for the latest phone version, and head over to the Chrome Webstore to grab the web app.
