Vibrant 4G snaps show colored battery cover…not much else

We knew that Samsung’s upcoming Vibrant 4G was little more than a remix of the original Vibrant, with the Korean OEM tossing in HSPA+ support and a front-facing camera (no more need for risky hacks or mirrors). And it’s cool to see a little dash of flavor on top by way of this gradient silver battery cover. But it would be great to see an extra tweak or two in addiction to the color changes and FFC, no? Gingerbread is one bullet point this gaget should have over it’s predecessor when it launches at the end of next month, but as of right now, word is that this bad boy is rocking 2.2.

There's no point in this relaunch tbh.. well there is.. it'd make a good mid range Android phone when the dual-cores hit.

It would be just like Samjunk to launch this with 2.2 and keep those foolish enough to buy it waiting for 2.3 for 8 months......or more, but maybe the GPS will work on this one.
