Video: Optimus 2X benchmarked

With the LG Optmius 2X being hailed as the world’s first NVIDIA Tegra 2 dual-core smartphone, everyone is eager to see how well the device can really stack up against the competition. Thanks to the folks at Techblog.gr, we get to take a solid look at some Quadrant scores from what looks to be a finished product. As of right now, Quadrant is the best way we have to see how the device compares, but you have to keep in mind that the app hasn’t been updated to be fully compatible with dual-core devices. Once the app is updated, expect the current score of 2391 to rise. For a stock device that isn’t being recorded to it’s fullest potential, the Optmius seems to be preforming wonderfully. Check out the full video, break-core and all, below.

I want to see the LINPACK scores. It negates any differences in embedded graphics and shows you the processors floating point computing power. Quadrant is good for an overall but I'm more interested in what that Tegra2 can do.

i be loving my optimus T (better than the $500 android phones I had before, and cost me about $100), So I will def be interested in the 2x. LG makes decent phones. I hope the 2x is vanilla like my optimus though. Love Vanilla. Hate custom UI's. look at how many glitches and problems samsung and moto droids have.... custom ui= no sale 4 me

What service is this phone coming out for??

Yeah I know the skins that carriers lay on top of Android really bog hardware down. The new Evo shift 4g scores about 300 points higher on quadrant when it is running on stock android.
