CyanogenMod 7 makes its way onto the Galaxy Tab

It’s certainly taken a little longer than most would’ve hoped, but it’s finally here: CyanogenMod 7 for the Galaxy Tab is now available in public beta form.

As you should expect from most public betas, not everything is 100% working. As Technomancer, the OP in the original thread, has said:

“You flash it at your own risk. Backup everything. Learn how to use Heimdall. If it eats your dog it’s not my problem . Many things are broken – post about it in the thread if nobody posted before. If you have any idea how to fix things, post too or PM me.”

Requirements for using the build include “GSM (Euro, US ATT/TMO tabs, with JJ4 or other unprotected bootloaders that can run Euro ROMs and P1_add_hidden partitioning.” For more information on how to get going, check out the CM7 Gingerbread Public Beta thread.
