Google I/O is already sold out

A tweet from @googleio:

Google I/O ’09 sold out in 90 days, ’10 in 50 days… #io2011: 59 minutes. Holy moly.

If everything is in order, and no mistakes have been made, holy moly is right. Considering that there was a ton of errors to be found nearly every click of the way through registration, 59 minutes is impressive to say the least.

Should anything change, like registration opening back up, we’ll be sure to update you. Did anyone get a chance to get through? I know Cyanogen did.

I am going. I almost thought I wasn't. Three hours later after figuring I didn't get in, I reloaded the web page and got to register. Even if I didn't get in, Google called me six hours after registration opened to see if I wanted to register with two previous failed attempts. I was almost afraid they were going to cancel my registration when they called. I was very impressed with the call. GOOGLE ROCKS!!!
