For $599 on contract or $799 outright, you can grab yourself Motorola’s Honeycomb powered tablet, Xoom, right now from Verizon Wireless. Of course, people who want to get in early will have to wait for 4G LTE support (a free upgrade that will be available in the next three months) and Flash, but perhaps the those bullet points are worth sacrificing for the full-blown Android 3.0 experience, which hasn’t been duplicated by the hacking community on devices such as the NookColor. After all, the Xoom features 1GHz dual core Tegra power and 1GB of RAM, not to mention the ability to capture 720p video and play back with a 16:9 aspect ratio.
Are you hot for Xoom? WIll you be jumping on this bad boy today, or are you waiting for the market to fill out a bit?
