Samsung Unpacked: “Something big is coming”

Just in case you were wondering, no, Samsung is not going to stop teasing the “next Galaxy S.” In a recent revamp to Samsung Unpacked, a Sammy hosted promotional site, a new teaser video has been hosted as well as some other pre-MWC information that’s supposed to keep the hype machine going.

Along with the aforementioned teaser video comes a place holder page for a live-stream covering Samsung’s announcement of the Galaxy S 2, a countdown clock, and the promise of more videos to come.

As you can see in the video above, Samsung isn’t looking to spill much info on the next Galaxy S yet, so it looks like you’ll have to stay tuned if you’re hungry for more. Anyone want to make any predictions on exactly what the Galaxy S will be like? Nvidia dual-core? Super AMOLED+ display? An update to the latest version of Android? Make your guess in the comments below.

Frankly, I don't care. It doesn't matter how cool this thing may be; Samsung isn't going to support it. They'll slap whatever version of Android they have sitting around onto it, and that's the last version it will ever have. You guys fooled me once with the Captivate. Never again.

Pause at 0:13 and you can see it. Fail.

You think that T mobile or Samsung would be worried about cannibalizing their sales of the Vibrant/Galaxy S 4G. I hope when this comes to T Mobile.. that it has HSPA+21.

This might just be a good upgrade from my vibrant

Something big? Gingerbread update to all US Galaxy S phones? Ha! Couldn't even type that with a straight face.
