Firefox 4 for Android available now

The time has finally come. Just last week, Firefox 4 RC3 for Android made its way onto the Android Market, and as everything was good to go, the app has come out of RC status and gone official.

Available from the Market now, Firefox 4 features several tools to keep your mobile devices in sync with how you browse from home. Not only can you synchronize your bookmarks, tabs, history, and passwords, but you can also download add-ons to retain the personal feeling you’ve come to know and love from Firefox desktop.

If you’d like to download Firefox 4 for Android, simply grab the 14MB file from the Market link below.

It needs some work. On some sites, the text shows up in a weird format. It was pretty fast though.

It works fine on my Htc Evo shift 4g

Im sick of the lack of support for android phones. There is no love for the mytouch famliy. I highly regret getting rid of my iphone.

And don't get me wrong Android is great in so many ways, but the Iphone just is the way it is and it just works. When an i.os update comes out every type of Iphone can receive it (well excluding the iphone 2g, but who has one of those anymore?) There is no waiting for your phone to recieve an update. It just does. Half of the shit on android phones is incompatible because the phones just are not built strong enough. Stop! putting out more phones and take care of the ones you have already.

Me too..I currently own an Atrix and have come to find that EVERY phone that I have owned since I got rid of my iPhone (Samsung Focus, LG Quantum, Mororola Flipside, Motorola Atrix) don't have the same fluidity and user firneldy experience. It's highly distressing to see that NOTHING really IS as user-friendlt and polished as the iPhone experience. Sad, but true.

Not compatible with MT3G : (
