If a leaked internal document Droid-Life has their hands on holds any weight, Staples is going to be getting into the tablet game in a big way this spring. Not only will the office supply store be carrying two tablets from HP and one from BlackBerry, but they’ll also be pushing at least seven Android based tablets as well.
Specific models of the Android tablets coming soon haven’t been revealed, but manufacturers and size have. There’s a 10-inch model from Motorola (presumably the WiFi only Xoom); a 7-inch Dell sporting 2.2 (upgradeable to Honeycomb); an 8.9-inch Samsung tablet (quite possibly a new model of the Galaxy Tab); and a whole slew of completely unknown 10-inch tablets from HTC, Dell, Acer, and Toshiba.
The Motorola and Dell tablets are penciled in for an April launch with all others listed as coming soon.
