With all the talk of Honeycomb tablets and dual-core processors, the Galaxy Tab is all but dead. If a terribly Photoshopped flyer being handed out at “technology fair” is accurate though, Samsung looks to be giving it one more go.
Rumored availability of a WiFi only Galaxy Tab has come and gone time and time again, but it looks like April 4th might be the magic date. The only problem? No one wants to buy a $400 tablet that features a single-core processor and Android 2.2 the same week the WiFi only Xoom is rumored to launch. If Samsung would have originally released the device at $400 to compete against the iPad 1, this may be a different story. But alas.
Better luck next time Sammy.
