Everyone loves a good juicy rumor on a Friday afternoon right? Droid-Life has just posted some rumors today surrounding Motorola’s future plans for smartphones, including the existence of two Tegra 3 devices known as the Bullet and Jet.
According to Droid-Life, the Bullet is a keyboard-less phone with a “4.3″ qHD screen, Tegra 3 (Kal-El) quad-core processor, at least 1GB DDR2 RAM (possibly 1.5GB), 16GB on-board storage, NFC chip, and a redesigned sensor to provide its new 12MP camera with amazing photos.”
The Jet, slated to feature a full physical QWERTY keyboard for power users, is rumored to touch down with a “4″ qHD screen, Tegra 3, 1 to 1.5GB of DDR2 RAM, 16GB on-board storage, same new 12MP camera as the Bullet, NFC chip, and a fully redesigned chicklet-style keyboard.”
The only availability information rumored on the two is early 2012 (release or unveiling, not sure which).
So how weight much is behind the rumors on these two devices? Not much proof, but things do line up quite nicely. Everything other than the processor for the Bullet and Jet is already available to use in any handset out there, and by Q1 2012, the Tegra 3 should be ready for mass production. For right now, we’re just going to have to wait and see if anything else surrounding the two begins to develop.
