America’s Got Talent wants YouTube submissions

This year’s partnership between YouTube and America’s Got Talent throws iPhone and Android apps into the mix, allowing users to shoot a video of themselves singing, dancing, or demonstrating some other talent and then upload it while mobile. Of course, contestant hopefuls can upload their submissions the old fashioned way as well, over at youtube.com/agt. 20 top entries will be chosen by AGT juges and then showcased at the AGT YouTube channel. Viewers will vote on their favorite video, and its creator is guaranteed a spot in America’s Got Talent special episodes heading for YouTube. They will also have a shot at appearing on the televised show and competing for $1,000,000.

Entries are being accepted now and will be until June 9th.
