This tasty leak from Droid Life indicates that, along with the Droid Bionic, the X2 has been pushed back. Originally set to be released today, it looks as though the dual-core, 1GHz Tegra 2-rockin’ powerhouse will hit shelves on May 26th, with likely availability for pre-orders on the 19th.
The follow-up to the original X features a 4.3-inch display at 960 X 540 pixels, 720p video capture, a 1080p video out and 8GB of internal storage.
Kellen from DL points out the evidence in the photo that the gadget will launch with Android 2.3, reminding us that 2.3 is set to hit the original X this week. Not very likely that we’ll see a new generation of X launching with 2.2 at this point.
