Looking to upgrade that raggedy ol’ HTC EVO 4G this summer? Well, Good and EVO has it that The Shack will give you $100 towards the purchase of a New HTC EVO 3D when you trade in your EVO 4G or EVO Shift. The EVO 3D will run $500 outright and $200 on contract. The catch is, of course, that most of us who are rocking an EVO pulled it off by signing a two-year contract. And since the original EVO just came out one year ago, it’s unlikely that many of us will be waltzing in to a Radio Shack and walking out with an EVO 3D for a mere $100.
Radio Shack is an authorized dealer of Sprint devices and can extend current contracts and combine carrier discounts with their own retail bargains. I purchased an EVO last summer and will be eligible for a partial upgrade on June 1st–$75 off of the outright purchase price with a two year contract extension. According to Sprint, this can be stacked on top of The Shack’s $100 trade in for a total discount of $175. So, while I won’t be snatching up HTC’s hot 3D shooter for a piddly hundred bones, I could trade up and have one for $325 and a new contract. No too shabby.
If you’re looking to upgrade your EVO 4G or EVO Shift, give Sprint a call to find out where you stand.
