Google Earth adds labels and borders for large geographical features

The Rocky Mountains: inspired by a baby brontosaurus snatching a fig

Google has updated their Earth application to include new geographical features and you can view the new designations by checking the “Borders and Labels” box in Google Earth’s left pane. Once ticked, you will be able to discern and identify “mountain ranges, deserts, plains, and more” by looking for the green lines and text on the globe. A mouse-over effect has been included for exposing the scope of larger features and reveals the demarcations of giant regions, as seen above.
