This may be one of those good news, bad news situations for some people. Even though it’s been known for a little while now that AT&T may only launch a single phone that runs on their LTE network this year, there hasn’t been much of a mention of a 4G-enabled tablet so far, which makes the likelihood of a late 2011 release for the HTC-branded tablet device very slim. However! It looks like the final moniker for the tablet has been unveiled, and it’s not all that bad.
A new report suggests that the device will be landing on AT&T’s network as the HTC Jetstream. And, as we’ve heard in the past, the device will showcase most of the same features that we’ve seen in other already released devices, like the HTC Flyer and HTC EVO View 4G. The cousin device to those other tablets, the Jetstream is still set to pack a 1.5GHz dual-core processor under the hood, and still feature the pen-like input from the Scribe feature. Hopefully AT&T can manage to release the tablet device before 2011, but we won’t hold our breath.
