It’s well passed the originally rumored August 7th release date for AT&T’s version of the LG Optimus 3D, and no we’re inching closer to that “early September” launch date we’ve heard bandied about a few times here and there. But, while AT&T and LG may not be ready to come forward and announce when this particular device will be landing on store shelves quite yet, a Target ad doesn’t look all that embarrassed to promote the device. And, with a price like that, we don’t blame it.
Actually, the $79.99 price shown here in the Target ad isn’t the first time we’ve seen or heard it. Other rumors suggest the device will launch for $99.99, which is still a great price. As far as specifications go, the LG Thrill 4G for AT&T will pack a 4.3-inch display, a dual-core 1GHz processor under the hood, and a 5MP camera around the back. It’ll launch with a version of Android 2.3 under the hood, but at this point it’s anyone’s guess which exact version will make it to the retail model out of the box. Hopefully with the ads starting to circulate, AT&T and LG are ready to launch the device, and we won’t have to wait much longer to find out when it’s coming, so stay tuned.
