ASUS Transformer receiving Android 3.2.1 update now

If you’re a happy owner of ASUS’ Transformer Android tablet, then you’ll be a little bit happier knowing that the device is getting updated to Android 3.2.1. The information was provided through ASUS’ Facebook page, and thankfully they were nice enough to not only let everyone know that the update exists, but also provide a nice updated feature and improvement list to go along with it.

The Transformer should be getting notifications right now that the update is available. Once you get the notification and have followed the steps to upgrade your tablet, here’s what you’ll expect to find:

Google Update: Android 3.2.1
Security enhancement
New Feature:
Supernote
IME/Translation:
Added Farsi IME support
Czech IME improvement : support Qwerty & Qwertz
JP SKU fixed translation bug and Polaris office font
Added more language translation into ASUS App
APP Updates:
CN SKU 3rd party app bug fix
Polaris office & ASUS WebStorage update
Improvements:
Browser with Adobe Flash improvement; ex: YouTube
Browser force-close improvement
Improve Wi-Fi stability
Improve Chinese handwriting prediction : recognize character from each stroke

Considering the minor bump to the version number, it’s no surprise that we’re not seeing anything major included in the update. But, updates are always good, right? If you own a Transformer, let us know in the comments how the upgrade does on your tablet.

Ok in my tablet as the other updates

my asus transformers still not receive update notice and stuck with 3.2 version. i'm still waiting for upgrade to 3.2.1 version..

...and my Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 is still stuck at 3.1 :-(  This is why I HATE when OEM skin Android. Takes forever to get the latested Google Updates. Sigh... Great job Asus! You are doing good by your customers!

downloading the update now, recently i've noticed a lot of force closing issues with programs. maybe not as ready for the tablet as others, it's a minor inconvenience for a great tablet.
