HTC and T-Mobile USA may be keeping quiet on the Amaze 4G, but that’s not stopping the images from landing on the Internet. We’re certainly looking at the same handset we’ve seen in the past, with that white and silver back panel, along with that 4.3-inch display on display. Interestingly enough, these images also come with a tidbit of information that may make some folks out there scratch their head in confusion.
As you already know, the myTouch brand for T-Mobile is a pretty strong name for the Magenta carrier. And, while the HTC Amaze 4G doesn’t have the ‘myTouch’ name anywhere in there, it does look a little bit like the latest iteration to the family. (That may have something to do with the fact that it’s manufactured by HTC…) But, according to CellPhone Signal, the Amaze 4G will be billed by T-Mobile as the myTouch successor.
The Amaze 4G will reportedly feature a 4.3-inch 960×540 qHD capacitive touchscreen display; a 1.5GHz dual-core processor; 8MP camera ’round back with a 2MP front-facing shooter; 1GB of RAM; be capable of 42Mbps HSPA+; and launch with Android 2.3. And yes, there will be HTC’s Sense UI on board as well, but there’s no mention if it will be the latest version, which is launching on the HTC Rhyme. (More than likely it will indeed be Sense 3.5 UI.)
