So while HTC is keeping mum on the fact that the HTC Bliss and Runnymede are coming sometime soon, that hasn’t stopped someone from getting their hands on the specifications for both devices, and letting them loose on the Internet. While the Runnymede specifications are something we just went over yesterday along with the device’s first press renders that made their way online, the HTC Bliss’ specs don’t look half bad in their own right.
Let’s try to remember that the Bliss is the HTC-branded device that Verizon is reportedly gearing towards a “female-specific” demographic. With that aside, here’s what the latest news on the device has to say: it will feature a 3.7-inch Super LCD display, with a resolution of 800×480. Under the hood, you’ll find a 1GHz Qualcomm MSM8255 processor, 768MB of RAM, and and 4GB of built-in storage. There is a 5MP camera around back and a VGA front-facing shooter. It will be powered by a 1,600mAh battery. Unfortunately, there’s no word on what version of Android will be running the show, but we’ve heard in the past that the Bliss will be one of HTC’s new devices to feature Sense 3.5, so it’s a fair assumption to think it’ll be running the “latest” version of Android.
And then there’s the Runnymede. As we mentioned earlier, these specs basically confirm what we already know. It will feature a 4.7-inch Super LCD display, with a resolution of 800×480. Under the hood there’s a 1.5GHz Qualcomm MSM8255 processor, 768MB of RAM and 16GB of built-in storage. There’s an 8MP camera around the back, and a 1.3MP camera on the front. A 1,600mAh battery is included. The device will also feature Beats Audio technology, and come packaged with a pair of headphones.
Nothing flat-out jaw-dropping here, but at least we know HTC is keeping up with the high-end Android-powered devices.
