Right now, it’s the 26th of September. Which means, for all intents and purposes, we’re at the end of September. And, as any owner of the HTC ThunderBolt should be, people are starting to wonder where on Earth the Gingerbread update for the device is. Luckily, HTC’s official Twitter account was able to clear things up.

As it stands, it looks like the ThunderBolt Gingerbread update is still alive and well, and the manufacturer still plans on releasing it. More to the point, HTC still has every intention of launching it in September. As @HTC put it, the update is still “scheduled for later this month. Very soon.” Well, it would have to be very soon to be “later this month,” as we’re certainly running out of days. But, for all you ThunderBolt owners out there, this has to be some good news, even if it isn’t an exact date.
