While we’re still waiting for any and additional information about the HTC Holiday, it looks like Canadian Android fans who have been keeping tabs on this device, better known as the Raider 4G up in the Great North, may have something else to get excited about now. While we know the device will launch on AT&T’s LTE network here in the States sometime before the end of 2011, we’ve got a bit more information regarding carriers for Canadian subscribers.
The Raider 4G was originally rumored to only be landing on Bell’s network sometime before the end of 2011, but now it’s looking more like Rogers customers will also be able to join in on the fun. According to a trusted source speaking with Mobilesyrup, the device in question is now suggested to launch on both Bell’s and Roger’s LTE networks sometime around November. While no exact date is provided, it is said that it will be in the fourth quarter of this year.
It’s currently in testing, and while the Raider name is being bandied about, there’s no guarantee that that is the name the carriers or HTC will finalize when it launches. Stay tuned, as more information about this device, along with which carriers its set to launch for, is sure to be just right around the corner.
