The Motorola ATRIX 4G, which launched on AT&T’s network several months ago, was seen as a pretty successful device, not only for Motorola, but for AT&T as well. So it’s no surprise that the device would have a successor. The folks over at BGR were lucky enough to get pictures of the reported device, forever known as the Motorola ATRIX 2.
The device was internally codenamed Edison, which we’ve heard in the past. But these are the first images we’re seeing of the rumored device. As far as BGR‘s source goes, they say that the device will feature a dual-core processor, an 8MP camera around back, and will run Android 2.3.5 out of the box. The camera will be able to record 1080p HD video, for the record. There’s not a lot to go on, so go ahead and stare at the phone as much as you want, while we wait for more info to leak its way into the ‘net.
