Motorola DROID Bionic already rooted

While the Motorola DROID Bionic may not actually be available for purchase quite yet (it will be soon), that’s not stopping some intrepid developers out there from making sure that all of the bases are covered for when the device does launch. As the title suggests, the DROID Bionic has made its way to the “rooted” pile, which should make plenty of people even happier, and more excited to get their hands on this handset.

The folks over at MyDroidWorld were able to adapt the root method for the Motorola DROID 3, and execute it for the DROID Bionic. All systems seem to be a go, as the above image, with the ‘#’ symbol more than apparent, indicates. We’ll have to wait and see how far this goes, and how soon we get custom ROMs, until the device actually starts shipping, but that shouldn’t be too long to wait.

I just rooted my OG Droid so I am curious to see how this one works too.

I just finally rooted my OG Droid so I am interested to see how this works.

Who cares about rooting? Any device can be rooted. Custom Roms are what people care about.

You have to be rooted to flash custom roms genius . And custom ROMs blow chunks .

How exactly do they blow chunks genius?......

I'm not that interested in custom ROMs, but I sssooooo desire rooting so I can over clock with SetCPU and remove bloat-ware with Titanium Backup.

custom roms are the majority of bugs..rooting adds to be exploited by various network hackers
