Motorola DROID Bionic priced at $199.99 on Amazon Wireless

So the Motorola DROID Bionic is finally available. After months, and months of waiting, the device is ready for your purchase. And if you’ve been eagerly refreshing Verizon’s site, or you waited at a Verizon retail location, then you know the device is going for the 4G DROID-iconic pricing, which seems stuck at $299.99. Well, if you’re willing to get your phone purchase on through Amazon Wireless, then you’re in for a bit of a treat.

As of right now, the phone is currently listed at $199.99. Of course, you’ll have to do the standard things, like sign a new, two-year agreement and sign up for a data package, but you already know that. Something to note, though. With the latest refresh of the page, Amazon Wireless is listing the device as “backordered,” but it also says that it will be back in stock on September 8th, 2011. For those of you keeping track, that’s today. So, if you get an order in, let us know in the comments, won’t you?

It is showing up as 179.99 as a new customer for me.

Showing up as 249.99 for an upgrade option. An actually is showing up as 179.99 if you start a brand new account!!!! Tried posting my findings hope it looks as it should!

I haven't been keeping an eye as my upgrade is far away, but is this always the case? And if Amazon is got such good deals, why would anyone go any other route? Lets spread the word and make sure Verizon sees a noticeable difference and changes their pricing model!! I failed to add my upgrade pricing to the first, so I have included it on this post Sorry for reposting!
