When a company CEO drops a hint about upcoming devices, you always have to keep it in the back of your mind. Because when an image like the one above breaks cover, it gives you plenty of room to speculate within the rumor mill. What we’re looking at here seems to be a seemingly unknown tablet device from Motorola. It’s sleeker, and seems smaller than the already released Motorola XOOM, and looks to feature the same angled edges that the Motorola Photon 4G brought to the table.
Thisismynext‘s tipster says that the Motorola logo is positioned at the top-left when it portrait mode, and there seems to be micro-USB and micro-HDMI ports at the bottom of the device. They also believe that the aspect ratio will be 16:9, and it is believed that this will be the 7-inch tablet device that Sanjay Jha suggested would be “fun” and “portable.” The image we can see above suggests the device has the Android-based camera application open, but what version of Android the tablet is running is anyone’s guess at this point.
And no, there’s no mention of a release date or how much this will cost. We’ll have to just wait and see when Motorola wants to make this thing official.
